We are delighted to be part of the new scholarly publication on French Medieval Manuscripts and Illuminations, celebrating the 30 years of the publiction of the one of the most important Book ever published on this topic: Les Manuscrits à Peintures en France: 1440-1520.
Two of our illuminated leaves are mentioned in this newly published book: our Saint Luke by the Master of the Vienna Roman de la Rose (Jean Horart), now sold, and out two illuminated leaves from the Bréviaire de Saint-Julien de Tours, painted by the Master of Jean Charpentier.
